Form & Compliance Updates
We track every TREC and Texas REALTORS® form revision so your files are never out of date. Here’s what’s changing next.
Texas REALTORS® Form Changes
Texas REALTORS® is revising its core listing, representation, and disclosure forms — largely to reflect a new brokerage compensation structure. We’re moving every active and upcoming file to the correct version automatically, no action needed on your end.
Forms Affected
- Residential Listing Agreement – Exclusive Right to Sell (TXR 1101)
- Seller’s Disclosure Notice (TXR 1406)
- Buyer/Tenant Representation Agreements (TXR 1501 & TXR 1507)
- Residential, Farm & Ranch, and Commercial Listing Amendment forms
- Amendment to Contract (TXR forms)
- Wire Fraud Warning, renamed “Consumers Beware” (TXR 2517)
TREC Contract Form Changes
TREC is restructuring its promulgated contracts around new brokerage compensation paragraphs and adding a mandatory groundwater disclosure. We’re reviewing every revision and will have your files on the correct versions before the deadline.
Forms Affected
- Residential Contracts – One to Four Family Resale, New Home, Farm & Ranch, Unimproved Property, Residential Condo
- Amendment to Contract (TREC 39-11)
- Addendum for Back-Up Contract (TREC 11-9)
- Addendum for Property Owners Association (TREC 36-11)
- Seller’s Disclosure Notice (TREC 55-1)
Groundwater District Disclosure Now Required
If a listing sits inside one of the North Texas groundwater conservation districts below, Texas law (Property Code §5.008 and Water Code §36.302) requires written disclosure to the buyer before they’re locked into the contract. As of July 1, 2026, this is covered by a new TREC form (No. 61-0, the “Water Notice”) in addition to the standard Seller’s Disclosure Notice.
| District | Counties Covered | Official Website |
|---|---|---|
| North Texas GCD | Collin, Cooke, Denton | northtexasgcd.org |
| Northern Trinity GCD | Tarrant | ntgcd.com |
| Upper Trinity GCD | Montague, Wise, Parker, Hood | uppertrinitygcd.com |
| Prairielands GCD | Ellis, Johnson, Hill, Somervell | prairielandsgcd.org |
| Red River GCD | Fannin, Grayson | redrivergcd.org |
Not listed here — Dallas, Rockwall, Kaufman, and Navarro Counties — currently have no groundwater district. Unsure about a specific property? Check twdb.texas.gov.
This is general information, not legal advice, and doesn’t replace the official TREC/Texas REALTORS® disclosure forms. Talk to your agent or a Texas real estate attorney about your specific property.

Sale of It
Who We Are
Casey brings a foundation that sets For the Sale of It apart from the start. With several years of experience as a residential mortgage loan processing assistant prior to entering the sales side of real estate, Casey developed an in-depth understanding of the lending process, compliance requirements, and the critical role that documentation and deadlines play in every successful transaction. Her MBA in Project Management and Graduate Certificate in Agile Project Management further sharpened that foundation — giving her the systems, methodology, and discipline to manage complex, fast-moving transactions with precision. That background — combined with her Texas real estate license — means she understands every angle of the deal, from the lender’s desk to the closing table.
In 2021, Casey got her real estate sales agent license. And like most new agents, the early days were hard. The doubt crept in. She began to wonder if she had made the right decision. Then came a conversation that changed everything. While talking with a fellow REALTOR and her husband, a home inspector, he looked at Casey and asked a simple question: “Are you gone have faith or you gone have fear? Because you can’t have both.”
Those words stuck. A few months later, Casey found her answer — not in spite of real estate, but within it. She knew firsthand how overwhelming the paperwork side of real estate could be — and she decided to do something about it. She discovered her true niche: transaction coordination. The behind-the-scenes work that keeps every deal moving. The details, the deadlines, the compliance. The stuff most agents dread — Casey found she loved it. In 2022, For the Sale of It was born.
Today, Casey and her team serve real estate agents and REALTORs across Texas from their home base in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, bringing that same mortgage expertise, licensing knowledge, and relentless attention to detail to every single file. We are your behind-the-scenes operations partner — and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
If you’re an agent who’s ready to stop drowning in paperwork and start focusing on what you do best — we built this for you.
